Popper

A steel IPSC target on a stand that scores 5 points when it falls and nothing when it stands. Poppers have no zones - you hit the body to knock it over. They come in full and Mini sizes.

A popper is a steel knock-down target shaped like a bottle. Unlike paper targets it has no scoring zones: it either falls or it does not, and a fallen popper is worth 5 points, the same as an Alpha. That makes it a target of certainty rather than precision - you drive the hit into the wide body to put it down and move on. In dry fire a popper trains fast transitions and closing out a target without fine aiming.
